Hyatt Expands its Presence in China

Hyatt has announced its plans concerning the opening of Hyatt Regency hotel in Beijing, Wangjing, China. This is going to be the first Hyatt Regency hotel in this key city. The hotel will join other Hyatt-branded hotels in the city – Grand Hyatt Beijing and Park Hyatt Beijing.

The hotel is expected to open in 2017, and Hyatt will operate it in accordance with management agreement with Beijing Lixing Property Development Co. Ltd. Hyatt Regency Beijing, Wangjing is located in the northeast of the capital. The hotel is a part of a large complex that consists of three buildings. In addition to the hotel, the complex will include high-end office buildings, shops and boutiques, and a park area. The complex was designed by the famous architect Kengo Kuma, who combined it with adjacent garden so that green elements can be seen throughout the complex, making it a perfect place not only to work, but also to relax. Hyatt Regency Beijing, Wangjing will have 349 guestrooms, several bars and restaurants, a fitness center, a spa, a swimming pool, several event and meeting facilities.

Hyatt Regency is a modern hotel brand with hotels located in resort, urban, suburban and airport destinations. Hyatt Regency hotels can have up to 2,000 guestrooms and are always equipped with meeting and event space, as well as other services tailored to business travellers or leisure tourists.
