It has been finally revealed that Bulgari Hotels & Resorts will open its new hotel in London. This is going to be the third property by this brand that specializes on ultra-luxury accommodations. The hotel will greet its first guests in 2012, right before the Summer Olympics that will take place in the capital of England.
Located in Knightsbridge area, this 85-key hotel is currently being built by Prime Development. Total building costs estimate approximately £350 million. The building is created by famous architectural company Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel & Partners.
Francesco Trapani, CEO of Bulgari Group, mentioned is his interview that this was a long-awaited project as Bulgari was very interested in opening a hotel in London. The new accommodation in Knightsbridge area fits the company perfectly as this is the first luxury hotel building from zero in London for last 40 years. As London is a famous strategic market for luxury goods, the company plans to expand its activities in this region in future and hopes the first Bulgari hotel in the UK will create favorable atmosphere for this. Currently the company has hotels in Milan and Bali.
The new hotel will feature high quality restaurant and bar, a private cinema, a SPA center, an indoor pool, a fitness center and a large ballroom.
