Jumeirah has announced that it will expand its Madinat Jumeirah, a popular resort in Dubai. Actually, the resort is already not a small one it consists of three hotels. These are Dar Al Masyaf, Al Qasr, and Mina A’Salam. The three hotels are connected to each other through a system of traditional Arabian souks and even a waterway.
The new stage of development is called Phase 4. Jumeirah wants to expand the existing resort and add the fourth hotel to it, as well as some other facilities. The resort will get a luxury hotel, a complex of private villas, several restaurants, and a new business and commercial center. Madinat Jumeirah is even likely to get its own retail space with various boutiques and a pedestrian only precinct. It is reported that all these plans are expected to be brought to life by the end of 2015.
When it comes to the new hotel, it is reported that it will get 420 guestrooms that will feature stunning views of the seaside. The hotel’s territory will include several hotels dedicated mostly to international cuisine, and other facilities to please even most demanding customers. The area with villas (there will be 45 of them in total) will be managed by the subsidiary of Jumeirah Jumeirah Living.
According to the company’s spokesman, Dubai is a region, which popularity is growing continuously, and so there’s nothing strange in the fact that they want to expand their Madinat Jumeirah. The resort is profitable, and so Phase 4 is a natural consequence of its development. The hotelier hopes to attract more luxury customers with their upgraded resort.
