Event Hotel Group has become the owner of the 280-key Radisson Blu hotel in Tallinn, Estonia. Together with this hotel the company has acquired an office building that is adjacent to it.
Located in the center of the city, upscale Radisson Blu will be working under the same brand and managed by the staff of Event Hotel Group.
Tallinn is one of profitable destinations in Europe. The growth of RevPar level estimates 30%, but no new famous hotels have been opened lately here and no new big names are expected to come. This makes the existing hotels in this city even more valuable. Tallinn is also the Cultural Capital of Europe and this fact attracts more visitors here. Finally the increased number of tourists from Russia makes experts forecast prosperity to the hotels of the region. According to Anders Braks, Event’s CEO, these factors have helped them to make the decision concerning the purchase of this famous hotel.
The new owner plans to perform a series of changes that will optimize business and make this hotel even more attractive to visitors. All guestrooms will be renovated and corner deluxe rooms will be enlarged. Lobby will be also changed, as well as the hotel’s restaurant. Inner adjustments include more accurate business planning and improvements of operating systems.
