Belarus is a country of old castles and beautiful orthodox churches that are highlighted by modern surrounding architecture. Our guided tour by itself is already is a long excursion non-stop. Besides, we offer a number of excursions for your choice, starting from the historical spots and ending with the ordinary people life and culture.

city tour - Minsk

Minsk today is the city of wide clean streets, modern and old architectural buildings, parks and green boulevards. The city is deserves the opinion of being one of the best cities in the former Soviet Union. In Minsk you can find the best of the Byelorussian cultural heritage - museums, exhibitions, theatres, world famous Byelorussian ballet, etc.
Minsk was founded more than 950 years ago. The city offers the view of its 17th century Cathedral of the Holy Spirit and Saint Peter and Paul Church. The 19th century Troitskoye Predmestye (Trinity Suburb) is an example of Minsk architecture of the past. Independence Square with its Government Buildings and Red Roman Catholic Church represent beginning of last century. Victory Square with its 38 meter obelisk and the Eternal Flame commemorate the heroes of World War II.

The 35 meter high man-made hill with obelisk was established on the place where in the Soviet Army successfully completed the liberation of Minsk and Belarus from the Nazi occupation (1944).

the old town of Borisov
The town of Borisov is located on the Berezina river and is just 20 km away from our cottage. It was founded in 1102 by Boris Vsevolodovitch, the Prince of Kiev. Nowadays, Borisov is a big industrial town with a number of historical spots.
Places to visit:
The Resurrection Cathedral - the monument of the architecture of the 19th century built from red bricks in Orthodox style.
The Railway Station - the monument of the beginning of the 20th century.
Merchant Stalls Of Borisov - the monument of civil architecture established in New-Classicism style in the beginning of the 20th century.

Last battle of the Napoleon army. Close to Borisov there is a village of Studenka - the place of the decisive defeat of the Napoleon’s Army by Russian Forces in November 1812. In memory of Russians and French soldiers, killed during this battle, the two monuments were installed here.

Dudutki - open-air ancient village museum
Perhaps, at present the ethnographical museum Dudutki is the first and only private museum of ancient culture on the post-Soviet Union territory. Here, the past and present are brought together. This is a museum of handicrafts, where a piece of clay, steel or wood are converted to goods, while you watch.
Dudutki museum combines activities and entertainment with nature and history. Former inhabitants of Dudutki owned it for 130 years (18th century). They made Dudutky one of the centres of cultural life in Belarus. Dive into the atmosphere of the 18th century, get to know the ancient country life and discover the tricks of ancient handicrafts.
All the museum exhibits - buildings, tools, mechanisms, vehicles -- are being reconstructed and repaired so that they may be used anew. It gives visitors a unique opportunity "to take part in the game " by taking the exhibits into their hands, trying it, and becoming entirely absorbed in the atmosphere of the past.
In the Handicrafts Shop you will not only see the past technology, but also you will also join the craftwork and participate in the creative process.

What's inside:
- Old and the only working windmill in Belarus, where they can see how grain was turned into flour
- Pottery shop, where one can see traditional work of a skilled potter and join the artisan in creative process
- Ancient smithy, where one can watch a blacksmith at work and receive a lucky horse shoe as a gift
- Village bakery with tasting fresh village rye bread made before your eyes, farmers butter, cheese and milk
- The only legal in Belarus apparatus for "SAMOGON" (local vodka) tasting it with fresh cucumbers or marinated pickles with honey
- Water park where you can walk along its riverside pathways, enjoy nature and share the admiration and delight of the former inhabitants - musicians, historians and writers who lived here in the 19th century and made this country estate to the Manor of Muses.

Mir town
The town of Mir is 110 km from Minsk. The town is first dated by 1395. It was owned by Belarusian magnates. Nowadays, Mir has all features of typical Belarusian privately owned towns.

Places to visit:
The Castle And Park Complex - the monument of the architecture of the 16th century. The complex includes a castle, a palace, a chapel and a park.
The Castle - the monument of 16th century built in Late Gothic style. In the last quarter of 16th century it was rebuilt into Renaissance style. Today, there is an exposition of the National Museum of History and Culture in one of the castle towers. In 1994 this complex was included by UNESCO in the monument list of the highest category in the world.
The Chapel - the monument of the architecture of the beginning of the 20th century built in Modern style.
The Catholic Church Of St. Nicolas - the monument of 16th century. It was built on the place of a wooden Catholic Church. In 1865 it was rebuilt into the Orthodox Church.
Trinity Church - the monument of 16th century. It was rebuilt into Retrospective-Russian style after the fire in 19th century.
