The Bunaken Island can offer 13 websites for the diving fans, where everyone can find out about the diversity of Indonesian coral fish. Diving along the walls will allow you to enjoy the beautiful corals, sharks, stingrays and majestic hump-head wrasses. The Lembeh Strait will please photographers and those, who like exotic things. Seahorses and spiders, eels, crabs and unusually-shaped shrimp – all of this you may see, while diving here. Black stingrays, sharks, and morays will meet a diver, who will visit Manado. Soft corals and flocks of tropical fish are located close to Bangka. Kapoposang island and Lanjukang island can also attract divers, as there is something to see for amateurs, as well as for experienced divers.
Please notice, that only the north part of the island has the well-developed infrastructure for tourists and divers. Snorkeling fans will also like it here – multiple underwater world representatives, good visibility and an opportunity to easily rent a boat, creat almost perfect conditions. In the north part of Sulawesi, you can attend training in a diving school and get an international certificate. Though, if you don’t have any desire to dive or you got tired of all the beauty of the underwater world, you will always find what to do on the island.
