The capital of Crimea is full of interesting historical sights and monuments. The city has monuments devoted to Prince Dolgorukiy, Suvorov, famous people of culture and art, heroes of World War II, and the memorial to the victims of Stalin's expulsions of 1944. In front of the Supreme Soviet of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea you will see the Soviet tank T-34 installed on the pedestal. The tank is set in honor of the city's liberation from Nazi occupation. Prince Mikhail Semenovich Vorontsov Palace is a well-known architectural monument. This palace is located in the Botanical Garden of the Taurida National University.

Simferopol is famous for numerous cultural institutions located in this city. The city’s suburbs are no less interesting as here you will find Kebir Jami Mosque, the ruins of the ancient Scythian Naples city, a natural landmark named Snake Cave, Skelsky stalactite cave, the two-story mansion of Dinzer, and Republican Crimean Tatar Museum of Art.
