In Seville there is the largest church in the country, La Catedral. It is ranked third in the world; it is very impressive and incredibly beautiful building. Construction of the cathedral has begun in 1401 and was completed only four centuries later. For years, work under its refined design was being continued; the interior of the temple fabulously beautiful. Within the walls of the cathedral there is the tomb of Christopher Columbus that’s another important object attracting thousands of travelers.
The important religious attraction is located in Cordoba, it is La Mezquita mosque. Modern travelers know it as the Cathedral of St. Mary, which is considered to be the patron of Andalusia. The mosque has been built in the 9th century; it was converted into Christian church in 1236. The mosque is very interesting from an architectural point of view, as its construction has a lot of amazing features.

Alcazaba de Málaga is another important historical site in Malaga dating back to the age of Moors. Built in the 11th century, the castle has witnessed a huge number of important battles. It has defended the city from Catholic kings; thanks to the fortress of Malaga the latter has remained impregnable for many years. In the early 20th century, a complete reconstruction of the historical building was held. Speaking of the fortifications, we are sure to mention Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos. It is located in Cordoba, close to the Puente Romano; this attraction is notable for its interesting history. Next to the castle there is a beautiful garden of Alcázar.
