Rental cars, bikes and scooters are widespread on the island. In the latter two cases, no special documents are required for rent. To rent a car, you need an international driver's license and a passport; you also have to pay deposit for the car.
It’s more convenient to travel between islands of the archipelago on a ferry; renting a boat would be more expensive. It’s better to plan a trip with a tour group, in this case, you can reckon on attractive discounts.
The best time to relax is the period from December to June. There is moderate warm weather at that time and rainfall is extremely rare. Divers and fans of underwater hunting are advised to visit the island in the period from March to May.
Employees of hotels and shopping complexes speak fluent English, but outside tourist areas it can be quite difficult to find common ground with locals. It is recommended to visit remote areas of the island with a guide or interpreter.
