Las Vegas city guide: sightseeings and touristic places

Las Vegas city - places to visit in Las Vegas You must have seen the well-known Fremont Street on TV or in magazines; it used to be the scenery in many Hollywood films. When it gets dark Fremont streets becomes the place of the greatest show in the world. Millions of lights and loud music for 7 minutes create magnificent pictures on a special tent. The cost of this show is about 70 million dollars. Fremont Street is situated in the ancient part of Las-Vegas, in Downtown.

The Guinness World of Records Museum. At the entrance of the Guinness World of Records Museum the visitors are welcomed by a full-sized plastic figure of the biggest and heaviest man in the world. In the museum you may watch the video of the records, a lot of which were set in Las-Vegas and its outskirts. The exhibition would be interesting to everyone, who this way wants to learn more about this crazy world.

In Las Vegas Natural History Museum history becomes alive. There one can find everything: starting with various fossils and ending with a ten-meter tyrannosaur Rex. More than that, in the huge aquarium of the museum one can watch at sharps that seem to want the only thing – to eat you. The most visitable place in the museum is the section of insects.

The Stratosphere Tower. One of the most favorite attractions and sights of Las-Vegas is, surely, the 356-meter Stratosphere Tower. From its observation deck one can enjoy a bird's-eye view of the city. It's better to get to the top of the tower by elevator just before the night comes: at this time the city is so fabulous, just like on photo cards. The bravest can visit the highest amusement ride 'Big Shot' on the top of the Stratosphere Tower.

Unfortunately, the legendary show 'The magic of Siegfried and Roy' is closed for now. But the wonderful park with zoo 'The Secret Garden von Siegfried and Roy' with the show of white tigers is still available. Besides, in the zoo one can watch the performance by dolphins.

The Sunset Park is the biggest park in Las-Vegas, the favorite place for picnics and festivals. There are 8 lightened open-air tennis courts, baseball and basketball grounds and also tables for picnics and places for barbeque. Especially popular with children is the pond, where everyone can do fishing (but a person shouldn't catch more than 3 fishes).

Las-Vegas even has its own Eiffel Tower. The Las-Vegas tower is by half smaller than a Paris one, a glass elevator will get you to the top, where there's a splendid panoramic view. To the south one can see the hotels in Las-Vegas, to the west – singing Bellagio Fountains, to the east – the mountains. To the north lies Las-Vegas Boulevard. On the 11th floor takes place an elegant restaurant.
