Universal to Open Two One-of-a-kind Hotels in Beijing

Universal Beijing Resort is currently under construction but when it opens, it will debut with two absolutely exceptional, one-of-a-kind hotels in the capital of China. These will be the Universal Studios Grand Hotel and the NUO Resort Hotel – Universal Beijing Resort. The design and concept of the new hotels are developed and led by Universal Parks & Resorts. The developer and the owner of the two new Beijing hotels is a Chinese company – the Beijing International Resort Co., Ltd. This is a joint venture between Universal Parks & Resorts and Beijing Shouhuan Cultural Tourism Investment Company.

These two hotels will have a totally new approach to hospitality. They will not be simply hotels close to a popular destination. The hotels will be destinations themselves. The two new hotels at Universal Beijing Resort will combine style, history, culture, and immersive experiences. Moreover, guests of these hotels will enjoy exclusive access to the theme park.

The Universal Studios Grand Hotel will be the first Universal-themed hotel. Dedicated to Hollywood’s Golden Age, this 800-room hotel will feature a posh and dazzling design with some Spanish influences. The hotel has a great location close to the entrance to the park. This is the best place to relax and escape other guests, enjoying privacy and exceptional service. The design reflects the century-long movie-making history of Universal Studios. Guests will certainly recognize many of the all-time favorite films in the décor of the hotel.

The other hotel, the NUO Resort Hotel – Universal Beijing Resort, is a luxurious hotel, the design of which was inspired by an ancient royal garden in China. This hotel will be particularly important for NUO as it is going to be the debut property by the young domestic luxury brand. It is safe to say that Universal Beijing Resort will be a crowded place once it opens, but the NUO Beijing Resort is designed like a peaceful retreat where guests can enjoy the serenity and tranquil atmosphere. The 400-room hotel is a bridge between the elegance and richness of traditional Chinese culture and modern comfort.

As it is not hard to guess, the new hotels are a very ambitious and costly project, but the developer is not a new player on the market. The Beijing Shouhuan Cultural Tourism Investment Company is a holding of Beijing Tourism Group. The latter is one of the Top 500 companies in China and one of the Top 10 tourism companies in the country.
