Hilton Opens Its First Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Vilnius

Hilton has come to the capital of Lithuania with its Hilton Garden Inn brand. The new hotel in Vilnius is located right in the heart of the city, on Gedimino Avenue that is the main street in the capital. Guests of this 164-room hotel will have direct access to Cathedral Square and Seimas Palace. Close to the hotel, there are also the Lithuanian Parliament, Lukiskiu Square, Ministry of the Foreign Affairs, and KGB Museum. The distance to the Vilnius International Airport is 5.5 kilometers, and the Vilnius Old Town, an important heritage site protected by UNESCO, is roughly a 10-minute-long walk away.

The hotelier tried to make its first Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Vilnius suitable for both leisure and business guests. To the service of the latter, there is a meeting and event functionality center that offers three multifunctional meeting rooms. These three rooms can be easily turned into one big hall that can accept up to 160 delegates. The 130-square-meter-area is a wonderful choice for all kinds of fairs, corporate and private events, workshops, and cocktail receptions.

It is also reported that the new hotel features ergonomic furniture, such as comfortable beds. Each room also features free high-speed Wi-Fi internet. For guests who always like to stay fit, the hotel offers a fitness center with a magnificent panorama of the capital city. If relaxation is the primary purpose, it is so pleasant to enjoy striking views of the surroundings in a rooftop terrace.

The hotel’s main dining venue, Beef Room, specializes, as it is not hard to guess, in steaks. It will offer fine meat of exclusive quality and locally sourced ingredients. There is nothing better than finishing a day in a charming bar. For this purpose, the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel Vilnius will have the Lobby Bar with a range of craft beer, signature cocktails, and various appetizers. Busy guests will also like the Shop venue that will work 24/7 and offer various snacks and beverages perfect for guests on the go.

The Lithuanian Jurta design company is responsible for the look of the new hotel. It developed the interior that is both functional and has authentic elements that are inspired by the rich heritage of the country. For example, there are brass floorings, a fireplace reminiscent of a pagan altar, and a Himmeli light installation. Rich use of earth colors and illuminated trees in the “Garden Lounge” were inspired by the signature Baltic region style.
