Mandarin Oriental Opens Its Second Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey

Mandarin Oriental announced that it will open its second hotel in Istanbul, Turkey. The luxury hotel with a wing dedicated to luxury residences is scheduled to accept first visitors in 2022. Mandarin Oriental usually tries to find the best location for its hotels, and this time is no exception. The new Istanbul hotel will be conveniently nested in a new development in Etiler, a luxury residential area in the Turkish capital that also has a fast connection to the business center of Istanbul.

The new hotel complex consists of three towers. Once all building works are finished, one of these towers will house a hotel – Mandarin Oriental Etiler Istanbul. It will have 158 guestrooms and suites and 16 more fully serviced apartments. The hotelier will also work over the remaining two towers of the complex – it will open 251 luxurious Residences at Mandarin Oriental in the complex. The master planner and the architect of the exclusive new complex has already been revealed – Amsterdam’s UNStudio.

The new Istanbul hotel will have everything that one would expect from a Mandarin Oriental property. Three restaurants and bars, a spa and fitness center with numerous wellness programs and dedicated treatments inspired by local beauty traditions, gorgeous outdoor terraces, an indoor and outdoor swimming pools, meeting spaces perfect for all kinds of business events and celebrations – these are just some of the features that will be available at the new hotel.

The hotelier also has an ambitious plan – to make Residences at Mandarin Oriental some of the most luxurious and exclusive residences in the city. It is possible to choose residences with private gardens and breath-taking views of the Bosphorus. Of course, Mandarin Oriental offers its legendary service and access to all facilities of the hotel mentioned above for owners of the luxurious residences.

This is also the company behind the famous Mandarin Oriental hotel in Bodrum and Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus that is set to open next year. The companies have already expressed delight with the upcoming project and hope that the new luxury hotel and residential complex will become successful as it perfectly fits the vibrant and historic city of Istanbul. Mandarin Oriental already has experience of managing two hotels in the same city (hotels in London and Hong Kong hotels).
