The Bvlgari Hotel in Shanghai Greets Its First Guests

News This June, Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts finally launched their sixth property. Bvlgari hotel in Shanghai opened just in time for a large event, the Shanghai International Film Festival. The famous jewelry brand participated in this event, offering attendees to enjoy the Bvlgari Film Week.

The newly opened Shanghai hotel has a prime location on the bank of the Suzhou Creek. It takes only a few minutes to reach Shanghai City Centre from the luxurious accommodation. Bvlgari Shanghai occupies a 48-story tower near the Chamber of Commerce Shanghai. The building of the chamber was originally opened in 1916. Several years ago, it was closed for renovation purposes and was reopened recently. The hotel’s design, contemporary glamour, is in line with the surrounding nature – beautiful gardens surround the tower.

Designers of the new Shanghai hotel had an aim of combining new and old, bringing a modern vibe but not forgetting about the past, and adding Italian aesthetics on top of that. Just like other Bvlgari properties around the world, the design of the Shanghai hotel was developed by Italian company Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.

The new hotel is located in the Zhabei district. It takes approximately 13 minutes on foot to reach East Nanjing Rd, a popular pedestrian street, from Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai. The hotel has a charming garden nearby and offers hot tub access to all guests. The dining facilities are represented by a restaurant that serves Italian cuisine. Each morning, the restaurant offers continental and a la carte breakfasts. All guest rooms come with a flat TV with satellite channels, air conditioning, a desk, and free toiletries. Some rooms face the garden, and some rooms offer stunning views of the city.

The hotel has a front desk that works round the clock. Apart from usual check-in and –out options, the desk offers help to guests of the city, useful tips, city guides, and much more. Visitors of the hotel will surely want to do some sightseeing as it is located close to such popular landmarks as Oriental Pearl Tower, People’s Square, or Shanghai East Jinling Road Ferry Station. The distance from the hotel to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport is approximately 15 kilometers. The new hotel will mostly appeal leisure travelers who want to explore the city and its vibrant life, but business travelers will also not be disappointed and will enjoy the close location to offices of large companies and authorities.
