The Chinese city of Hainan now has another great destination for all leisure tourists, the first Atlantis resort in the whole country. Atlantis Sanya has been accepting guests since December 2017, but the official opening is set for April 28, 2018. After that, all facilities and services of the resort will be available to the public.
The date for the grand opening of the fabulous ocean-themed resort is not random. It coincides with festive events in the region because of the 30th Anniversary of Hainan Province Special Economic Zone. The new resort enjoys a prime location on the Haitang Bay National Coast. There are several famous Atlantis-branded resorts around the world, such as the flagship Atlantis resort in Dubai, Atlantis Ko Olina resort in Hawaii, and the Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences in Dubai. The latter two are yet under construction.
This brand has become widely famous because of its ocean-themed resorts that offer not only accommodation but also various entertainment experiences. Guests of Atlantis Sanya will surely enjoy Aquaventure, a revolutionary waterplay entertainment, and are welcome to attend The Lost Chambers Aquarium that often hosts interesting marine exhibitions. The resort hotel in Hainan will have 1314 guestrooms and 154 suites, most of which will offer spectacular views of underwater life and the sea.
Hainan Island has always been one of the most popular destinations for holidays in China, so new resorts are very welcome there. The hotelier believes that Atlantis Sanya will be a powerful player on the market that will definitely attract numerous local and international tourists to the popular resort city. Atlantis Sanya has very ambitious plans to offer a truly “once-in-a-lifetime vacation” that guests will certainly not forget.
Prior to the grand opening, the hotel has launched 18-day countdown activities that will entertain tourists from all over the world. They don’t even need to be in Hainan to participate as there are both offline and online activities. In order to open the Hainan resort, the hotelier collaborated with various companies, such as Hirsch Bedner Associates and Jeffrey Beers International that helped develop outstanding interiors. All furnishings have traditional Hainan hardwood accents and there are artworks created by local Chinese artists.
