Starwood Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of its first Sheraton Grand branded property in the capital of the UK. Sheraton Grand London Park Lane will be open already this autumn after a multi-million pound renovation. This will be a new chapter in history of the 90 year old hotel. Sheraton Grand is a relatively new brand that was developed as a part of the Sheraton 2020 program.
Sheraton Grand London Park Lane is a premier hotel located in the heart of Mayfair. Originally, it was opened in 1927. Since that time, the hotel has undergone several restorations. The latest one returns its signature elegance and Art Deco look to the 303 guestroom hotel, adding some new features like 43 Sheraton Club rooms with exclusive access to Sheraton Club Lounge. This is a place where hotel guests are welcome to enjoy complimentary breakfast, drinks and snacks during the day, as well as traditional afternoon tea. Business travelers will definitely like complimentary meeting rooms that are also available for guests of the Club Rooms.
The hotel has always attracted celebrities and aristocracy. It impresses visitors with its fantastic stained glass ceiling. To keep in touch with its long history, the hotel’s famous Palm Court Lounge serves breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner and cocktails. The drinks are served in accordance with Paired, the food and beverage programme by Sheraton that offers not only drinks like wine or local craft beers, but also small plates with matching snacks.
