Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts announced new partnership program with prominent fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar. During the one year long collaboration the magazine will showcase Waldorf Astoria properties around the world. The information will appear in the printed version of the magazine and on its website.
Readers of Harper’s Bazaar will be able not only to enjoy destination inspired stories by editors of the magazine, but also to purchase customized travel experiences at special section of ShopBazaar.com. Waldorf Astoria, in its turn, will host editors of the magazine in its hotels, where they will create fashion spreads inspired by various destinations. The first fashion story appeared in May issue of Harper’s Bazaar. It was shot by famous photographer Miguel Reverigo and featured model Lily Donaldson. The photoshoot covered trends inspired by the location of the hotel and included various designers and fashion houses like Gucci, Chloe, Balmain, and more. The next travel inspired photoshoot will appear in November issue of the magazine. No details are announced about it at the moment.
In addition to special photoshoots, both the brands are sharing content about each other actively using blogs, social media and email newsletter. The companies expressed delight with the partnership as they believe they target same auditory, and fashion and travel are connected categories so both Waldorf and Harper’s Bazaar benefit from this program.
