Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces has announced the opening of its debut hotel in Jammu & Kashmir. The hotel will be opened under the Vivanta brand owned by the hotelier. The 89-key luxurious property will be managed by Taj Hotels, while the owner of the property is Saifco Hill Crest Hotels Pvt. Ltd. – a famous business house. This is also going to be the 20th hotel by this brand.

Abhijit Mukerji, the executive director of the hotelier, tells this Vivanta by Taj-Dal View Srinagar is going to be a unique accommodation in one of the rarest destinations. Jammu & Kashmir state yet needs introduction to tourists, but the company is sure in great potential of this place. In order to open this hotel in India, the company needed to get support from the local government.

Mumbai-based hotelier plans to expand its business in the country, adding more accommodations in different parts of India and other unique destinations. Vivanta by Taj-Dal View Srinagar will be mainly targeted on leisure travellers and will feature, according to the representatives of the hotelier, unparalleled service and exceptional holiday experience.
