Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts makes its official debut on Singapore by opening Mövenpick Heritage hotel in Sentosa.
The 5-star hotel is located in the heart of the Sentosa gaming resort. The hotel’s design is developed by Super Potato (Japan) and features luxurious contemporary style with influences of colonial history. The hotel consists of two wings. Heritage wing is the old wing of the building that is designed in traditional style of the 40s of the previous century. Contemporary wing is a new one and it offers contemporary style to most hard-to-please tourists.
At the moment only Contemporary wing is operating and the Heritage one will be added later. The operating wing offers 105 deluxe rooms and 25 suites, as well as dining and entertainment facilities. The hotel has suites of different type. Onsen suites are equipped with traditional Japanese tub sets outdoors that also feature tranquil views. Penthouse suites have private pools at the rooftop. Dining options are now represented by one restaurant only. This is Library that specializes mostly on snacks and includes a large lounge zone. Tea Lounge is a wonderful place to have breakfast and enjoy international menu.
Heritage wing is still undergoing renovation and is expected to open in the end of the year. Once opened, it will add up 61 guestroom and suites. In this wing will be located a dining restaurant, a Cigar Lounge and a Whisky bar. The visitors of the restaurant will be also offered the option of trying special tailor-made menus.
