Lebua Hotels & Resorts, a Bangkok-headquartered hotelier specializing on luxurious accommodations, has revealed its plans concerning the debut in India.
At the moment Lebua operates 2 upscale hotels in Bangkok and 1 luxurious hotel in New Zealand. The company wants to open its next property in India and is currently in the process of negotiations with hotel owners and developers concerning the opening of the property. If succeeded, this is going to be an expensive investment as usually the cost of one room in Lebua hotels reaches US$400,000.
The company’s CEO Deepak Ohri mentions the company plans to open 3 accommodations in India in total. These are going to be a hotel in Mumbai, a hotel in Delhi and the location of the third hotel is yet unclear and will depend on partners, demand and so on. When opened, each hotel will feature facilities for both business and leisure tourists. There will be also 3 restaurants and three bars in each hotel. Restaurants will feature Chinese, Indian and some other cuisine. Bars will be targeted on clients of different age.
Lebua has recently opened sales offices in Mumbai and New Delhi and is currently involved into searching of new partners.
