Accor SA, a Parisian-headquartered hotelier, has created 2 new applications for cell phones. Before this the company released only an app for iPhone. This application will be also renewed in the nearest future and equipped with enhanced booking capabilities.
Everyone can get these two new apps on the official website of the company, Accorhotels.com. Currently two new platforms have been added – BlackBerry and Bada by Samsung. Currently more and more people use smartphones and such applications simplify the process of choosing and booking hotel rooms. The next generation of applications will allow users to search for negotiated rates and book such rooms. This feature will be added to the iPhone application in the nearest future and will be also available for BlackBerry within several weeks.
With the help of the Accor’s application users can make a search and book rooms in one of over 3,000 hotels around the world. The following brands are supported: Novotel, Ibis, Pullman, Mercure, MGallery, Adagio, SuiteNovotel, All Seasons, Formule 1, Etap and HotelF1.
According to Accor’s forecasts, the company will get bookings worth around 20 million of Euro through these applications.
