China-native 7 Days Group Holdings Ltd. managed to open 231 accommodations in China in 2010. Among them 146 properties are net managed and the rest 85 – net leased-and-operated. At the end of the year 7 Days was operating 568 hotels, 247 of which were managed and 321 – leased-and-operated. In 2011 the company plans to open from 170 to 200 hotels in China. If 7 Days continues its expansion at the current level, the company will soon reach its target – 1000 operating hotels in China.

The majority of hotels by 7 Days are referred to middle-scale and budget segments and work under the 7 Days Inn brand. The company has China accommodations in all major areas of the country. 7 Days is the fourth largest hotelier in China at the moment. The company also occupies the 34th place in the international list of hoteliers.
