Corinthia Hotel chain plans to open a five-star hotel in London in early 2011. This will be the ninth hotel under the Corinthia brand.
Corinthia Hotel London will be located in a grand Victorian style building, between Whitehall Place, Northumberland Avenue and Great Scotland Yard, with views to Trafalgar Square and the Thames.
This luxury London hotel will feature fully restored contemporary interiors, a picturesque garden, two restaurants, a luxurious spa, cocktail bar, a beautiful ballroom and conference rooms. There will be 294 rooms with elegant design, including 45 luxury suites. Some of the suites are located on on duplex floors inside the historic towers and boast private elevators and terraces. In addition, a double Royal Suite, covering an area of over 470 square meters, will become one of the largest in London. From its windows the guests can enjoy the unsurpassed views of the most recognizable landmarks of the city, including the River Thames, Trafalgar Square and the "London Eye". The bedrooms at the Corinthia Hotel London, averaging 45 square meters in size are also the most spacious in their category.
The hotel project was developed by the world's best designers and architects - GA Design International and world renowned designer David Collins.
