Four Seasons Surrenders Aviara Resort to Hyatt

Four Seasons Hotels has handed Aviara resort in Carlsbad, California, to Hyatt. Park Hyatt Aviara Resort has joined Hyatt's portfolio of 25 properties located in United States and overseas. Chuck Floyd, chief operating officer for Hyatt in North America, rejoiced at the acceptance of the new hotel into the chain.

Meanwhile, there has been a bit of tension between the owner of the hotel - BRCP HEF Hotel Tenant LLC and the management group – Four Seasons Hotels Limited. BRCP charged Four Seasons Hotels Limited with improper financial management. The verdict was that there had not been any violation on Four Hotels Season's side and that there was no choice for the companies but to break up for good.
