The Floral Clock, the main attraction of Queen Victoria Gardens, is even more beautiful in the fall when everything flourishes here. There is a large number of interesting places to visit in the park. For example, the Shrine of Remembrance monument, the Tecoma Pavilion observation deck, as well as the already mentioned Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Another picturesque park - Fitzroy Gardens - accommodates many interesting sights introducing visitors to the Victorian era in the history of Australia. These include Cooks' Cottage - a house built by James Cook's parents in 1755, and another remarkable site is Model Tudor Village donated to the city by residents of London Borough of Lambeth.
A magnificent masterpiece of modern architecture is Webb Bridge (numerous design awards attest to this), which was designed by Robert Owen in collaboration with Denton Corker Marshall in 2003. During its construction, engineers focused on the reconciliation of indigenous peoples and newcomers, and therefore, its design combines elements symbolizing the past of Australia, its present and future. The Merri Creek Labyrinthstriking with its views is an amazing place to walk. One of the symbols of the city is Federation Square, where interesting events are often held. It is a pleasure to walk around a picturesque expanse here.
