Description: Once constructed as a private villa in 1869, later in the hands of bankers, this grandiose 19th century classic building has been enhanced and converted into the Relais & Châteaux Hotel Heritage. The house has a 14th century old cellar with special arches, of which stones are now displayed at the museum of the archaeological society. The hotel is situated in the centre of the ancient city, 50 m. from the market square. Cozy restaurants, interesting museums, refined shops and fabulous carriages that take you through the city are just at close stretch. Boat rides on Brugge's popular canals show you the hidden corners of the city.
