Macao will soon get one more fantastic project. The Londoner is a British-themed resort worth US$2 billion that is based on the history and culture of the UK. The project consisting of five luxurious hotels, themed attractions and amusements, an arena for up to 6,000 visitors, numerous fine dining options, retail space, MICE facilities, and more will gradually open already next year. One of the central elements of the new project, the Londoner hotel in Macao, will open in the first quarter of 2021 together with the Crystal Palace atrium and interactive copies of the most famous London attractions. The official opening ceremony will take place in February.
The all-suite Londoner hotel will also feature the newest collaboration with David Beckham who is the ambassador of Sands Resorts Macao. The British star even developed suites for the hotel together with David Collins Studio, a renowned interior design company from London. The exclusive Suites by David Beckham will be the first suites in Macao designed by a celebrity.
Aimed at “bringing the best of London to Macao”, the new five-star Macao hotel will have approximately 600 suites. When finished, the Londoner Macao resort will have more than 6,000 guestrooms in total scattered among five hotels. Three hotels, namely, The St. Regis Macao, Conrad Macao, and Sheraton Grand Macao, are already operating. The Londoner Hotel and Londoner Court will be luxury all-suite hotels that are set to open next year.
The Londoner Hotel will feature Louis Suites and Victoria Suites that are approximately 75 square meters each, and Windsor Suites that are 113 square meters each. The exclusive 14 suites by David Beckham will occupy the last two floors of the building. They will range from 113 to 298 meters and will reflect the celebrity’s own style and taste, bringing the charm and sophistication of a London residence to the Chinese resort.
Guests of the Londoner Hotel will get access to The Residence, a British-style club with personalized service and exclusive food. Other food options available to guests of the resort include dining outlets by famous chefs and all-time favorites like Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, Churchill's Table, North Palace, The St. Regis Bar, and The Mews. The retail area at the Londoner will feature more than 150 boutiques and stores from upscale to haute couture brands.
