IHG to Open Two New Hotels in Phuket

InterContinental Hotels Group or IHG continues its expansion in South East Asia, namely, in Thailand. The popular hotelier will open two new hotels in Kata Beach, Phuket. This will be also the debut of two brands – the Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express – in the region. The hotels are set to open in 2022.

The new openings by IHG will be a part of large mixed-use development – The Beach Plaza Phuket. The complex in Kata Beach is located very close to the sea as it takes only five minutes to reach it. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites hotel in Phuket Kata Beach will have 135 rooms, and the second hotel – Holiday Inn Phuket Kata Beach – will have 134 rooms and will have a swimming pool, facilities for business guests, restaurants, and a gym. The properties will be open together with K.W. Group, a developer that has been working on the estate market of Phuket for decades.
