Starwood Opens Its Largest Hotel
Starwood Hotels & Resorts has just opened its new Sheraton Macao Hotel Cotai Central with as many as 4,000 guestrooms. This makes the property the largest hotel in the global portfolio of Starwood.
The hotel in Macao occupies two large towers. Its territory includes a huge ballroom, the area of which is larger than 11 basketball courts, three outdoor pools, three restaurants and poolside bars. Sheraton Macao Hotel Cotai Central is also the location of the largest Sheraton Club Lounge in the world, and the largest Sheraton Shine Spa in Asia Pacific.
The first tower of the two, Sheraton Sky Tower, is already open and serves its guests. This tower includes 1,829 guestrooms, Sheraton Club Lounge (1,208 sq. m.), and event space of 14,865 sq. m. The second tower, Sheraton Earth Tower, will have 2,067 guestrooms, and two outdoor pools. This tower will open next year.
Sheraton Macao Hotel Cotai Central offers amenities for both single travellers and tourists with children. The hotel features many special family guestrooms and suites. The suites are equipped with special children beds and a special play area. The hotel also includes Kids Club and Kids Program with video games, an area for toddlers, and more.
