TUI Opens a Hotel on Sylt Island

Indeed, the North Sea island is a unique place that is so different from the rest of the country. No wonder why TUI decided to open a hotel in Sylt.

The new hotel on the island of Sylt will open in spring 2021. It will be operating under the TUI Blue brand. The company also announced that its Dorfhotel in Rantum will be closed for modernization purposes so that it fully complies with the standards of the lifestyle brand.

With the coronavirus problem having the potential to persist, the demand for domestic travel in Germany might be strong in the coming months. Germans are one of the most actively traveling nations, and if traveling abroad is risky, they will surely choose to travel within the country’s borders. Such top locations as the holiday island of Sylt are a perfect choice in this case.

The new Sylt Island hotel will have 159 apartments. This is a great place to stay for tourists of different ages who want to explore the beautiful North Sea island. TUI tells that the new hotel will focus on the region’s culture and will emphasize the tranquil atmosphere that Sylt is famous for. The new hotel will be suitable for couples and families with children. TUI also underlines that Sylt Island can be a great choice for various events like conferences and group travel.

Starting from April 2021, TUI will offer a new fitness and relaxation program named Bluef!t as well as the upgraded dining options. TUI Blue Sylt will offer a range of dishes suitable for different guests such as gluten-free food, vegan food, lactose-free dishes, low-carb and high-protein dishes. The new hotel will also try to comply with sustainability standards. For example, it will have its own electric charging station. As it was mentioned before, the new hotel by TUI in Sylt will greet its first guests in spring 2021, but the gorgeous island in the Frisian archipelago in the North Sea can be a great choice for this summer vacation.
