TED-Style Workshops at Marriott Hotels in Europe
The European branch of the famous hotelier announced the launch of a series of workshops for its guests, which will be made in TED style. TED Talks is a partner of Marriott, so it was decided to make its own meetings in a similar format. The workshops will be complimentary and targeted at boosting creativity and productivity.
In order to help its guests, Marriott Europe decided to invite industry professionals and experts, and ask them to share their knowledge and experience. The first event of this kind already happened in the end of May at Marriott Hotel in London, Regents Park. During the event, visitors could meet Alice Levine, a TV and radio presenter. The main theme of the workshop was “Finding Your Voice”. The event was a big success and was also a debut attempt of Levine to share her knowledge before the anticipated TEDxLondon event dedicated to the theme of confidence, which took place in the city a few days ago.
Later this year, two more events will take place at the London hotel. The themes of the workshops are already known. The first will be “The Art of Tidying”, the workshop dedicated to organizing environment and, therefore, helping to enjoy a more productive lifestyle. The final TED Talk style event of the year will be titled “Clean Sleeping”. Hosted by a sleep guru, the workshop will teach guests how to sleep well and gain vitality by following simple sleeping tricks.
