In-Room Streaming at Hyatt Hotels
Hyatt has launched a new exciting feature for its guests, who now can enjoy personalized television streaming in their rooms. The streaming is available through the upgraded World of Hyatt application.
Currently, the new feature is available at 14 Hyatt branded hotels. The company plans to add in-room TV streaming to more hotels, but that will be done in several stages. At the moment, the hotelier could confirm only the addition of the feature in Park Hyatt and Hyatt Centric branded hotels in 2018.
What is the new feature and why is it so important? The new feature creates a more at-home experience by allowing hotel guests watch their favorite streaming shows and services on TV screens located in guest rooms. The content provided by such services is available in nearly any language. In order to access the feature, guests do not need to enter any codes or personal information on the TV panels. When guests check-out, the system automatically logs them out, enabling safe and secure experience. Guests can also make their own streams and share their photos, videos, presentations and other content that way.
