Viceroy Launches Resort Hotel in Kopaonik, Serbia
When it comes to selecting a ski resort in Europe, travelers usually think of the popular Alps, forgetting that there are many wonderful and no less picturesque resorts in the region. Serbia’s Kopaonik is a cozy place with beautiful nature and ideal location. The resort is often called “Mountain of the Sun” because of its exceptionally good weather with almost 200 sunny days a year. In addition to quality ski slopes, guests of Kopaonik can enjoy such activities as rafting, paragliding, mountain biking, and various thrilling experiences. Naturally, large hotel companies are interested in the largest mountain range of Serbia, and Viceroy Hotel Group is no exception. The famous hotelier brings luxury experience to the resort by opening the 120 Viceroy Kopaonik that is set to open next year.
The new resort enjoys magnificent location at the foot of beautiful slopes of Kopaonik. Guests will be able to enjoy convenient ski-in and ski-out access and more than 55 kilometers of alpine ski routes. The hotel will also offer ski concierge and scenic views of the slopes. As Kopaonik is a national park, besides skiing guests of the hotel will be able to admire biodiversity and rich flora and fauna of the region.
The concept for the new hotel was inspired by the natural beauty of the place. Large windows, open spaces, dark timber accents and clean lines are just some elements of the design. Virecoy hotel in Kopaonik will have four dining venues, including the magnificent Apres lounge with breathtaking views of the mountains. The hotel will have a spa with six treatment rooms, hammam, beauty lab, and an indoor swimming pool. Other amenities include a kids’ club, meeting rooms, ski valet, and Jacuzzi.
