Marriott International announced the launch of its partnership with famous Internet service Netflix. Thanks to the partnership, guests of Marriott Hotels will be able to subscribe to Netflix right from their hotel rooms using the special application on hotel guestroom televisions or sign into their existing accounts. Currently, the new service is available at 6 hotels only, but Marriott plans to add more properties already this summer. As the service is popular in many countries of the world, Marriott will launch it globally in several steps. Marriott hotels in the US are the first target Netflix app will be added to special televisions connected to Internet to 100 properties by the end of this year and to more than 300 properties across the country by the end of 2016.
The special Netflix app for Marriott hotels will allow simple sign up or sign in and convenient use throughout whole stay. Hotel guests will need to log in once into their Netflix account, and after that they can use it until the end of their stay. When guests check out of the hotel, the information about the account is automatically removed from the televisions.
