Hilton Paris Opera to Open Next Year

News Hilton Paris Opera will open its doors again in January 2015. The hotel was closed for an extensive restoration that cost the famous company US$50 million. The 268 guestroom hotel is famous for its long 215 year history, classic blend of glamour and style, and fantastic location in the heart of the French capital.

Previously known as the Concorde Paris Opera, the hotel is located in a fabulous historic building designed by Juste Lisch. Originally the building was constructed in order to accommodate guests of the 1889 Exposition Universelle. After a yearlong restoration and enhancement, Hilton Hotel Opera got 268 guestrooms and 29 suites, which feature calming color schemes and delicate brass details. Visitors of the hotel will be certainly delighted with its fantastic historical entrance with frescoes, original giant chandeliers with crystals, mosaic floors and Corinthian colonnades. All guestrooms come with free Wi-Fi and central air conditioning. Among the 29 suites there are signature ones, for example, the legendary 900 sq. ft. Maria Callas Suite. The suite features a huge living room with high ceilings, one king bed in master bedroom, one more bedroom with twin beds, two private bathrooms, and a large walk-in shower. Some suites with round exterior are located on both sides of the building. These Rotonde suites come with private balconies. There are also 10 one bedroom suites and 14 junior suites in the hotel. All suites are equipped with coffee makers, enhanced turndown, full-size amenities for bath, and access to the Executive Lounge, where guests will be served complimentary breakfast and afternoon snacks and drinks.

When enter the hotel, guests will see two reception desks and “Le Grand Salon”, a historic hall with 46-foot ceilings, frescos and vintage furniture. This place is ideal for formal and informal meetings, evening cocktails and light meals. Meetings and events can also be held in the Salon Baccarat and six smaller meeting rooms. After the renovation, Hilton Paris Opera got a fitness centre and an Executive Lounge.
