Accor Hotel Services Middle East will open a new hotel in the holy Saudi city of Madinah. The Pullman branded hotel will open in accordance with a management agreement with Munshaat Real Estate Projects Company.
ZamZam Pullman Madinah will be a five star hotel located in two towers. The hotel will have a total of 834 guestrooms. This will be a newly built hotel, and construction works are already at advance state, so the property may greet its first guests already this September. The timing is well-chosen as the hotel will open right in time for the Islamic pilgrimage.
This will be not the first collaboration of Accor and Munshaat, as both the parties already opened one more Pullman hotel in the country, namely in the holy city of Makkah. Accor has made business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for over 30 years. The company’s ZamZam Pullman Madinah is a popular choice for pilgrims who come to see the holy city. That hotel features a beneficial location just 150 metres from the Holy Mosque.
The first tower, Tower A of the new hotel will have 321 standard guestrooms and three types of suites (around 300 suites in total). In Tower B guests can select from 200 standard guestrooms and 25 suites. The hotel will also feature a large 24/7 restaurant, another restaurant at the rooftop, a terrace and a lounge zone with café.
Currently, Accor operates 64 hotels in the Middle East region with more than 15,580 guestrooms. The company also has 31 hotels under development.
