Guests of Sheraton hotels around the world are now able to participate in a special premium wine program called Sheraton Social Hour. The brand new program is offered together with Wine Spectator magazine.
Currently more than 240 hotels by Sheraton around the world participate in this program. Guests of these selected Sheraton properties are welcome to participate in special Social Hours that will take place three or four times a week. The events imply wine tasting. Sorts of wine will depend on the region of hotels. For example, in North America the program will include 90+ wines by Wine Spectator. The wine is served in famous Riedel stemware. In addition to wine, participants of the program will be offered to taste such premium bottled waters as S.Pellegrino Sparkling Natural Mineral Water and Acqua Panna Natural Spring Water.
In order to test the new program, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, the owner of Sheraton brand, has conducted a series of studies in its 19 properties. First attendants of the new Social Hour program say they are very likely or likely to return again in order to participate in the program (95% of respondents). 66% of people, who have participated in the survey, say they will purchase wine during their travelling is there is a premium wine program.
