The Peninsula Hotels launched a new program called Peninsula Academy. The main aim of the program is to make summer rest of hotel guests even more exciting and unforgettable. Guests are welcome to participate in a number of events dedicated to different themes, such as fashion, cuisine, culture, and art.
Here are some of programs available for the summer 2014. The Peninsula Hong Kong hotel will host a series of caviar tasting programs, during which guests will be able to try various sorts of caviar produced on best sustainable farms in the world. The Peninsula hotel in Chicago will help guests learn more about floral installations and new concepts in floral design. The program was developed in collaboration with Kehoe Designs. The Peninsula hotel in Shanghai decided to turn to fashion. The program called Modern Shanghai Chic includes a number of events, such as a meeting with Lu Kun one of most famous young fashion designers in China. The meeting will be held in the studio of the designer. Guests will also enjoy a ride on Rolls-Royce and a breakfast in traditional Chinese style. The Peninsula hotel in Beverly Hills will offer fishing and cooking activities for its guests. Visitors are welcome to participate in half-day fishing on the Pacific Ocean with famous Chef David Codney, who will try to catch yellowtail, barracuda or sea bass. Fishing will be followed by a four course dinner with the fish caught earlier same day. Finally, the Peninsula hotel in Manila will offer a “pearl safari”. Guests will make a helicopter ride to a private pearl farm. The farm, which is located in the Palawan Sea, belongs to Jewelmer, the company that specializes in Philippine South Sea Pearls.
