New Resort in Cesme Peninsula, Turkey, by Four Seasons

News Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts have announced the opening of its new resort property. The new hotel will be located in Cesme Peninsula not far away from Alacati. Four Seasons have also made a very interesting statement about the project. It is reported that this is going to be the first luxury resort of this kind in the Mediterranean.

The beautiful town of Aegean, which is located in Izmir province, has always been known as a popular place of holiday of the Turkish elite. For centuries people have been attracted by this place thanks to its fantastic thermal springs, vineyards, culture and cuisine. Now Four Seasons wants to open a hotel in this magnificent place.

Four Seasons Resort Cesme is to open its doors in 2016. The hotel is expected to attract both domestic and international leisure travellers who want to enjoy luxury holidays in the region of magnificent beauty. Despite its natural attractiveness, the region is home to some sights. For example, the ancient city of Ephesus is the location of the famous Temple of Artemis, known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The region is also a great choice for sports fans, who enjoy kitesurf and windsurf.

The new hotel will have 130 spacious guestrooms and suites. There will also be made 16 private villas located on the hilltop. Guests of the resort will have an opportunity to enjoy truly breath-taking sea views. As this is going to be a luxury resort, it will provide visitors with facilities and services of the world-class level. There will be sport and fitness facilities right at the beachfront, a luxurious spa, thermal springs with a thermal pool, and even a hammam. The hotel’s agora (the traditional place of gathering in ancient Aegean cities) will host lounges, restaurants, various entertainment facilities and retail areas. The resort will be also equipped with meeting and business facilities, and will be able to host events and accommodate groups of travellers.
