These days more hotels try to show off their creative side by turning to art in general, and modern art in particular, so there’s no wonder why Andaz Liverpool Street hotel in London follows the trend. The hotel decided to attract more visitors by launching several guestrooms with special design. The rooms will be available starting from July 7.
Named “Room With a View”, the design of these guestrooms was inspired by East London street art. First “art guestroom” in the hotel was designed by Chris Price and his wife and collaborator Delisia Howard. The room is available for booking till July 2015. This guestroom will be the only one available for the moment, and later the hotel will add more special guestrooms. The closest date is October 2014; more guestrooms are to debut in January and April 2015. These guestrooms will be created in collaboration with Patrick Vale, ILoveDust and Patrick Morgan respectively.
Commenting their decision to turn to street art in hotel design, the hotel’s general manager Tim Flodin mentioned they always considered inspirational art an essential part of Andaz Liverpool Street. They are glad to find new ways how they can support both modern art and British artists, so they’re really excited to collaborate with the team of talented artists and hope to bring the atmosphere of East London to the hotel design.
