Marriott International has announced the opening of 3 hotels in Europe. One of them will be opened under the Renaissance brand and the other two under the Courtyard brand. All hotels are scheduled for opening until 2013.
The first property will become Renaissance hotel in Warsaw. The 225-key accommodation will be located in the International Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport. The hotel’s entrance can be reached directly from the international terminal. This hotel in the capital of Poland will be managed by Marriott according to the franchise agreement with Port-Hotel SpZOO. The hotel will be targeted mainly to business travellers and so it will feature such facilities as a large business space (around 10,000 sq. ft.), a health center and a SPA. Renaissance Warsaw will be opened in 2013 and this will be the third hotel in this city by Marriott.
In Germany Marriott will open a hotel in Wiesbaden. This city is located in the south-west of Germany along the Rhine River. Wiesbaden is known as one of the most famous spa resorts in Europe. The city is particularly famous for its hot springs. Marriott will renew the old Ramada Hotel Wiesbaden that is operating now and will reopen it as Courtyard Wiesbaden Nordenstadt Hotel. The 239-key property will be also managed through a franchise agreement Realotel Wiesbaden Hotel Betriebsgesellschaft MBH.
Finally, the new French accommodation will be a hotel in Montpellier. This is the eighth largest city in France that is known as a fast-growing industrial center. Courtyard Montpellier Hotel is set for opening already this December. Just like the abovementioned properties, this hotel will be managed by Marriott according to its agreement with Matea Sarl. The 124-key accommodation will be located in the central part of the city and will feature a 24-hour market, a swimming pool and Oleo Pazzo restaurant with Mediterranean food.
