JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts has marked its presence on the mobile applications market by launching CUR8, a special application that will help visitors share positive moments and travel memories using special media networks.
CUR8 is a free application that can be now downloaded on iTunes. When started, the application shows ways, using which guests can make different digital souvenirs. This can be done in six steps. The “digital souvenir” is a combination of videos and photos. Users are also welcome to use photos from the bank of images that cover all JW Marriott Hotels in the world (64 properties in total). In addition to the ability to edit photos, users can add and mix videos and music, add text and even make comments and messages in their mini digital movies. Once the movie is done, users can upload it to Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube, using simple hashtag #CUR8byJWM.
The new application was made by Los Angeles headquartered agency Team One that mostly specializes in advertising. These days, mobile applications of hotel companies have become usual, but Marriott wanted to make a step further and offer something new and entertaining for its visitors.
