InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) follows its ambitious plan of expanding the company’s presence in Europe. This time one of largest hotel companies in the world has announced the opening of three Holiday Inn hotels in Turkey. These are going to be Holiday Inn Istanbul Tuzla Bay, Holiday Inn Ankara Cukurambar, and Holiday Inn Istanbul Kadikoy.
The 140 guestroom Holiday Inn Ankara Cukurambar is set to open during the second quarter of 2014. The property will work in accordance with an agreement with Aska Otomotiv ve Petrol Urunleri Tic A.S. Conveniently located close to numerous business offices and governmental headquarters, this hotel may become very popular with business travellers, who visit the city’s main business district of Cukurambar. That is going to be the first hotel in the area managed by the Holiday Inn brand. The hotel will feature numerous meeting rooms, a spa, gym, bars and restaurants, and a huge 660sq.m large ball room.
Holiday Inn Istanbul Kadikoy will also open in 2014. The 127 guestroom hotel will be located in a newly constructed building. The hotel will have a restaurant, a bar, and a mini gym. Kadikoy is a business area in Istanbul that is home to over 400 offices of companies. However, visitors will find numerous bars, hospitals, universities and even the 55,000 seat Fenerbahce FC Stadium nearby. The third hotel, Holiday Inn Istanbul Tuzla Bay, is set to open in 2016. This hotel will also have 140 guestrooms and it will be built in Tuzla business district of the Asian side of Istanbul. The hotel will have all signature elements of Holiday Inn brand such as traditional lobby. Guests will also enjoy a 180-dergee sea view from the hotel. Holiday Inn Istanbul Tuzla Bay will become the first internationally branded hotel in Tuzla Bay.
