Hard Rock is not only a popular brand of rock-themed cafes around the world, but also a chain of hotels that are currently present in the Americas. However, the company has very ambitious plans concerning its expansion in Europe, and Hard Rock hotel in Ibiza will be the debut accommodation in the region. The hotel is expected to open in May 2014.
In order to open its first hotel in Europe, Hard Rock has concluded a license agreement with Palladium Hotel Group. According to the document, the companies will rebrand two hotels Hotel Don Toni and Club Don Toni into one Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza. Of course, the hotel will adopt the original style of Hard Rock cafes. Because of the brand’s tight connection with music, the hotel will regularly host DJ performances and music concerts. The two buildings of original hotels will be slightly remade and connected by a remodeled lobby.
According to the company’s spokesman, they are eager to open Hard Rock Cafes in Europe. The company has 32 Hard Rock Cafes in the region and during its 40 year long history the Hard Rock brand has won devotion of many people worldwide. Palladium Hotel Group, in its turn, has good presence in Ibiza with its 12 hotels (nearly 3500 rooms in total).
The new hotel in Ibiza will have 480 guestrooms, and will feature all signature features of the brand, such as Rock Spa, Body Rock fitness, Rock Shop with famous merchandise by Hard Rock, and meeting space of 8600 square meters. The hotel is anticipated to have numerous entertainment venues, including a teen club, a beach club, museum with music memorabilia and more.
