New Design of Carlson Country Inns & Suites Brand

Carlson has made public the new design of its Country Inns & Suites brand. This is one of the oldest brands of the company, and it was never refreshed during its 25-year long history. However, Carlson wants this brand to appeal to larger groups of travellers, and this fact became the major reason for redesign.

According to Carlson, the new design will maintain the brand’s warmth and comfortable atmosphere, but it will be more sophisticated. Country Inns & Suites will have the new logo and architecture. The main design prototype was developed by Virgile and Stone, a London-based architecture and design firm. Genevieve Gorder is responsible for transferring the brand’s vision. The new design of guestrooms will be made mostly in soft shades, and will underline comfort and relaxation of Country Inns & Suites hotels. Among key elements of the new design are stone surfaces, plush rags, and soft textiles. Natural materials, soft colours and textures will be used throughout hotels of the brand. Public areas will be lit by natural daylight.

The new logo is also a redesigned version of the old one. The rose from the original logo was changed, and the brand’s name is written in a unique font developed for Country Inns & Suites.

First redesigned Carlson Country Inns & Suites hotels will appear already this autumn. The brand’s website and mobile site, various items like key cards and in-room stationary will get the new identity in the nearest future.
