Swissôtel has recently reported that the company is to open a golf resort in Sanya, China, which is located in the southernmost part of Hainan Island. The resort will be a part of a large scale development called Sanya Dragon Valley Hot Spring & Golf Resort, which cover a huge area of 660 acres (267 hectares).
Besides wonderful guestrooms and various facilities, restaurants and bars, the property will contain more than 21,000 sq. ft. (2,000 sq. m.) of meeting space and conference facilities. Guests of the resort will be also welcome to visit the hotelier’s signature Pürovel Spa & Sport.
In order to open this resort, Swissôtel has started a partnership with Hainan Zhongdu Real Estate Development Co., which is headquartered in Sanya. This company will invest as many as US$950 million into the building of this large-scale project.
This golf resort is not the only project by Swissôtel under construction in the region. One more Swissôtel hotel in China is currently being built in Chengdu, a popular leisure tourist resort located in Sanya.
