Sheraton Doha Resort and Convention hotel in Qatar has received the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certification for its true commitment to food safety and striving to strictly abide by international safety standards.
According to Chef Josef Gschwandtner, Executive Chef of the Doha hotel, HACCP certification requires a complex approach to food quality, and it uses chemical, physical, biological and other types of food quality analysis with the goal of preventing the possibility of food poisonings and food-related diseases among vacationers.
Josef Gschwandtner says everyone in the company is proud to have received the certification. Since food service quality is crucial for any hotel’s popularity, this event will earn Sheraton Doha Resort and Convention Hotel a reputation of one of the world’s most guest-oriented hotels with restaurants providing top quality food service. "We want all our guests to delight in our food offerings, not only in terms of enjoying great food and service but also peace of mind knowing that we are uncompromising with regard to standards of hygiene and safety," said Mr. Gerhard Foltin, General Manager of Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel.
