The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. has recently made its debut in Japan by opening the first luxury hotel in Okinawa – The Ritz-Carlton Okinawa.
The top class resort has 97 guestrooms and two posh suites. Some guestrooms have balconies that overlook the Kise Country Club and the beautiful East China Sea. The hotel features contemporary design with Shurijo face motifs, ponds, white walls, and red clay roof tiles. Food and beverage options include several restaurants - Kise teppanyaki restaurant, Chura-Nuhji (Italian dining restaurant), and Gusuku (all-day long restaurant with traditional Japanese, Okinawian and international dishes).
The hotel is equipped with signature Ritz-Carlton Spa by Espa that combines Balinese, Chinese, Indian and European spa traditions. Guests are welcome to attend four treatment rooms, special outdoor cabanas for shiatsu and Thai massage, stone baths, private decks, an indoor pool, steam sauna, stone sauna, hot tubs, relaxation room, a nail studio, a fitness center and more.
