Louvre Hotels Group has announced its plans concerning the expansion in its home country. According to the company’s report, Louvre Hotels plans to open 25-30 hotels in France in 2012. Approximately a half of hotels will be operated according to marketing contracts.
Currently the company builds 20 new hotels in different parts of France. They all will start working within next 3 years. 12 hotels will open already this year, and 10 more will be added to the company’s portfolio in 2013.
France’s 4-star hotel segment is currently the main aim of Louvre Hotels Group. The company wants to strengthen positions of its Golden Tulip brand. Currently there are 7 Golden Tulip hotels in France. The newest additions are a hotel in Lyon and a hotel in Roissy.
As Christophe Novellon, the company’s director of development, says, Louvre Hotels Group is currently searching for strategic locations in France. The company is nowadays in a strong position and keeps providing its customers with numerous advantages and excellent quality. Louvre Hotels sees many opportunities for growth on historic market. In 2011 Louvre added 63 properties to its portfolio with the total number of rooms exceeding 7,000. 28 of these hotels were opened in France.
