Wyndham Wants to Open a Luxury Hotel in China
Wyndham Hotel Group, which is also known as the largest hotel company in the world in terms of the number of hotels, seeks new properties to add to its Chinese portfolio. Recently the company announced it had signed a management agreement concerning a posh hotel in Shaanxi province. The luxurious 565 guestroom hotel will belong to the prestigious Wyndham Grand Collection brand.
Wyndham Grand Xi’an South will join the hotelier’s portfolio in the country that already encounters 422 working hotels and 47 more hotels under development. In total the company’s portfolio in the Asia Pacific region includes 490 hotels with 68,602 guestrooms in total. Here Windham operates such brands as Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Days Inn, Ramada, Microtel Inns & Suites, Howard Johnson, Super 8, and Dream Lands.
Currently it’s hard to overestimate the potential of Chinese hotel market and its growing development so many hoteliers try to enhance their presence on the market.
Gorgeous Wyndham Grand Xi’an South is scheduled to open in the end of 2014. The hotel will be a part of a large development that is located in South Yuanta Road. Besides the hotel the complex will include high quality shopping centers, several museums, a conference center, and even a concert hall. The center will target both business and leisure travellers. In addition to spacious guestrooms the hotel will feature 38 suites and one extra-large Presidential suite. The territory of the hotel will also include a spa center, a fitness center, and large meeting and event area for business visitors. Dining facilities of the new hotel will include three restaurants that will work all day long and will offer best dishes from the international and Chinese cuisines.
